Frances Joyce Maloney passed away at the age of 76 on January 15, 2020. She was born to George and Lafern Edwards. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband David of 53 years. They were lifelong farmers and owned and operated many local businesses over the years. She was an avid boater. Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with family and friends, usually on the water or in her winter home in Ft Myers Beach Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband David, Parents George and Lafern, and her brother Donald Edwards. She is survived by her three sons; Lowell and Tabitha, Daniel and Dana, Steven and Jolynn and eight grandchildren; Hannah, Davis, Bailey & wife Sarah, Max, Isabel, Jack, Alex and Chase. She is also survived by her sister Mary Ellen Abel. Frances was very close to her many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday January 22 from 4 to 7 PM at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY and at St. Kateri Catholic Church on Thursday, January 23 at 9:30 AM in Ridgway, IL, followed by a funeral mass at 11 AM with burial service at Union Ridge Cemetery, New Haven, IL. Fr. Dave Johnson and Fr. Steven Batty will officiate. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthonys Hospice.
