Linda Gail Edmonds Thomason Mrs. Linda Gail Edmonds Thomason age 74 of Toccoa passed Thursday February 6, 2020 at her residence. A daughter of the late George Milford and Mozell Gladys Watson Edmonds, she was born January 3, 1946 in Stephens County where she lived all of her life. She was employed with the Stephens County Training Center as a teacher’s aid for many years and later worked with her husband at Thomason and Son Oil Company as a secretary. She was of the Holiness faith and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Calvin Edward Thomason, son Gary Thomason, granddaughter Sara Naomi Houser and a brother Jimmy Edmonds. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law Sandy and William Houser of Arnoldsville, Georgia, grandchildren McKiell Chance Adams, Ashley and John Neal, Christopher Thomason, great-grandchildren Parker and Asher Adams and a number of nieces and nephews Funeral services will be held Sunday February 9, 2020 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Bob Wescott officiating. The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from noon til service time. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Rodney Pennywitt, Greg Thomason, Todd Pulliam, Bill Houser, James Cleveland and Steve Thomason.
