Steven Colyer

Steven D. Colyer, 43, Antis Township died Tuesday March 6, 2018 at his home. He was born June 15, 1974 in Altoona son of Melodi A. Endress. Surviving are a son, Steven C. Colyer of Tyrone; his mother of Tyrone; a brother, Michael D. (Jenelle) Colyer of Altoona; a sister, Karrie A. (George) Colyer Bonsell of Tyrone; a nephew, Mikie; two uncles, Mike and Mark (Janice) Endress both of Bellwood; and his step father, Andy Estright of Frenchville. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles and Janet Endress; and an uncle, Miles A. Endress. Steven was a 1992 graduate of Tyrone Area High School and was employed as a corrections officer at State Correctional Institution, Benner Township Centre County. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, backpacking and hiking and also riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Friends will be received from 5-8pm Monday, March 12, 2018 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood. The family suggests contributions in Steven’s memory be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
