Dwight Lewis

Dwight Lewis, age 62, Unicoi, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Center on Aging & Health. He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and son of the late Vernon and Hannah Barnett Lewis. Dwight retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Highway Crew after thirty-two years of service. He was of the Christian Faith. Dwight was a member of Unicoi Masonic Lodge #681 F&AM. Dwight loved to ride motorcycles, fan of Nascar Racing, fishing, rabbit hunting and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Lewis. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving fiance, Terri Graham; four children: Brandon Lewis (Cynthia), Unicoi, Jon Graham, Roan Mountain, Rabecka Graham, Gastonia, NC and Samuel Graham, Unicoi; six grandchildren: Ethan Lewis, Colt Lewis, Dawson Gambrell, Macy Elliott, Trinity Elliott and Charley Moore; two sisters: Jewell Berry (Paul) and Crystal Simerly (Steve), all of Unicoi; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2020 at the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Estel Williams will officiate the 7:00 PM funeral service. Committal will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday in the Lewis Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Lewis, Sam Graham, Jon Graham, Colt Lewis, Seth Berry and Isaac Lewis. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:45 PM on Tuesday.
