It is with great sadness that the family of Evelyn Finch announce her passing on January 28, 2020 at Pineview Terrace in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 89. Evelyn was born August 1, 1930 in Birch Hills, SK to Ole and Hilda Haave. Marion being the eldest, Evelyn followed quickly after with sisters Hazel and Pearl joining the family. She attended school in the Birch Hills area and attained her Grade 12 and soon after meeting and marrying the man of her life Norman Finch on June 1, 1952. To this union four children were born Sheila, Norma, George and Jeff. Evelyn was employed at the CIBC and later in life she worked at her daughter’s mini golf during the summers in Emma Lake. She loved to travel, knit, read and study rocks, watch hummingbirds and was a woman of faith. Evelyn is survived by her daughters: Sheila (Steven) Ryder, Norma Farenick, sons: George Finch and Jeff (Brenda) Finch, grandchildren: Susan Klughart, Wendi (Paul) Klughart, David (Allison) Klughart, Curtis (Amber) Ryder, Shayne Ryder, Ashlee (Shawn) Samuel, Calvin Finch, Cameron (Lesley) Desjardins, Ryan (Gayle) Finch, Nicole (Jordan) Crawford, Lisa (Clayton) Kindzerski, Tara (Michael) Nelson, Alicia (Kevin) Finch, Michael (Kelsey) Finch, great-grandchildren: Remy, River, Dawson, Rebecka, James, Garrett, Cole, Brooklyn, Bella, Oliver, Navon, Morgan, Jayden, Nikita, Avery, J.J., Cashton, Linley, Taevyn, Aidan, Kali, sisters: Hazel Robertson and Pearl Berg, brother-in-law Ken Becker as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Evelyn is predeceased by her parents Ole and Hilda Haave, husband Norman Finch, son-in-law Russell Farenick, great-granddaughter Emily Samuel, sister Marion Atamanchuk, brothers-in-law: Bryan Berg and Don Robertson and sister-in-law Esther Becker. The family would like to thank the Staff at Pineview Terrace for their loving care provided to Evelyn. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1796 15th Avenue East, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Dennis Serfas officiating.
