James Daniel Gipson, Jr.
James Daniel Gipson, Jr., 67, of Edwards, Mississippi passed away on January 25, 2020. A native of Ohio and born July 20, 1952, he was the son of the late James Daniel Gipson, Sr. and Shirley Frances Branch Gipson. A graduate of Waterproof High School in Waterproof, Louisiana, he attended college at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a Pipefitter at CB&I for many years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed anything outdoors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, James Daniel Gipson, III and a brother, Franklin P. Gipson, IV. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joann (T.D.) Gipson; daughter, Coby Gipson Joffrion; grandchildren: Victoria “Tori”, Joey, Kaylee Jo, and Aidan Joffrion and Jaxden Gipson; great grandchildren, Kyrin Joffrion and Tylin Jenkins; brother, Rollie F. Allen, III (Judy); sisters, Betty Kristine Atkinson (Lee) and S. Leann Bounds (Stephen); and numerous nieces nephews and other relatives.Obituary
