Arnold, 35, of Mexico, passed away at 12:40 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at her residence due to natural causes. Born on July 4, 1984 in Lewistown, Mifflin Co., she is the daughter of Stephen E. Jr. and Stephanie (McIntire) Arnold of Mexico. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, Ayden J. Brannan, at home; one sister, Jamie M. Arnold and her fiancé Matt Knox of Mexico; maternal grandmother, Margaret McIntire of Mifflintown; paternal grandparents, Stephen E. Sr. and Margaret Arnold of Arch Rock; maternal aunts, Roxann McGinnis and her husband Howdy of Mifflintown and Cindy Weston and her husband Randy of Lewistown; paternal uncles, Richard “Pete” Arnold and his wife Joedy of Arch Rock and Todd Arnold and his wife Cheryl of Montgomery, PA; also her baby niece who is due on May 5th; her best friend and caregiver, Cindy Arentz Foody; her therapy cat, Smokey; and several cousins She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Douglas A. “Mac” McIntire. Hilary was a 2002 graduate of Juniata High School and was formerly employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Ms. Arnold had attended the New Beginnings Church in Spruce Hill and in earlier life, enjoyed playing on teener softball teams and cheerleading. Her hobbies included enjoying the races at the Port Royal Speedway, going to the beach, campfires, spending time at her family’s camper, being an avid hunter since the age of 12, and collecting unicorns and Boyd’s Bears. However, she will forever be remembered for her loving and caring spirit by her family and friends who were everything to her, especially her son and grandparents. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will follow at Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown. A viewing will be held from 5-7 PM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the funeral home and from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral services at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ms. Arnold’s memory can be made to the Port Royal Speedway Kid’s Night, 308 W. Eighth Street, Port Royal, PA 17082.
