Della May Metz, resident of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Blackwell. She was 77. The Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell. Della was born on August 3, 1937 to Ernest and Minnie (Collison) Metz in Anthony, Kansas. She was raised in and graduated High School in Geuda Springs, Kansas. Della worked as a Nurse Aid for several years. Della was a very loveable person. She never met a stranger. Della loved to play cards, and play basketball; most of all Della loved her Church. She is survived by two nieces, Beverly Turner, and Connie May; three nephews, Bobby Moulton, Lonnie Moulton and his wife Lynae, and Dale Moulton: several great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her mom and dad, and one sister, Yula Brotton.
