Charles Ray Danner, longtime Blackwell resident, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home in Blackwell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Blackwell, Oklahoma with Rev. Robert Johnson and Rev. John Newland, both of Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow at Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Rob Danner, Ronnie Hightower, Justin Shepherd, Gary Danner, Mark Danner, and Darrel Rutter. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell. He was born Feb. 8, 1947 in Blackwell, Oklahoma. He was 69 years old. Charles was as a Truck Driver for 40 years. He worked for United Fabricators and Weldex, Shepherds Car Wash, and also worked at D&W Dozer until he was disabled. He is survived by two daughters, Darcy Jenkins of Moore, Oklahoma, and Tonya Peralta of Pueblo, Colorado, one brother, Don Danner of Phoenix, Arizona, one sister, Barbara Cole of Blackwell, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. and Pearl Danner, two sisters, Pauline Rutter and Helen Hightower, three brothers, Carl, Virgil, and Bob Danner.
