Jenny Lynn Dewitt Obituary

Jenny Lynn DeWitt, resident of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at Ponca City Medical Center. She was 57 years of age. Funeral services will be held at the Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell with Mr. Lanny Jobe officiating. Burial will then follow at the Blackwell Cemetery in Blackwell, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell. Jenny was born on August 11, 1957 to Joe Max and Barbara A. (Cobb) Shoemaker in Blackwell, OK. She was raised in Blackwell and worked as an Office Manager for Oklahoma Investment Casting Company. She enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching and reading. However, the one thing that she found the most pleasure in was spending time with her grandchildren. Jenny is survived by husband, Max DeWitt of Blackwell, OK,, daughter, Joanna Potter her husband Bobby of Ponca City, OK, son, Greg Morehead and his wife Kari of Kiowa, CO son, Matt DeWitt and his wife Susan of Blackwell, brother, Tommie Joe Shoemaker of Brady, NE, brother Manny Shoemaker and his wife Mary of Nolanville, TX, grandchildren, Kylee Potter, Koree Potter, Kameron Oakley, Keirston Oakley, Landon Morehead, Lauryn Morehead, and Mark DeWitt, Parents, Joe and Barbara Shoemaker, and a special friend, Teresa Stanley. Preceded in death by one granddaughter, Adrianna Lauryn Morehead, and grandparents.
