Old Town – Ruth Mildred Crow, 97, died January 15, 2020 at the Meadows in Old Town. She was born May 2, 1922 in Dedham, the daughter of Ernest L. and Gunilla M. (Bennoch) Sargent.

Ruth enjoyed knitting, bingo, shopping.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her first husband, Clarence Martin, and her second husband, Henry Crow; son, Clarence Martin Jr.; daughter, Hilda Moore; sister, Phyllis Jenkins; brother, Roger Whitehead.

She is survived by three sons, Bobby, Nelson, and Glenn Martin; daughter, Kathy Allgood; grandchildren, Loriann Azbell and Janell Martin; eight grandchildren; three great great-granddaughters; her close friend, Linda.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Meadows in Old Town, especially Nancy for letting Ruth be in charge sometimes.

A graveside service will be held later in the spring at date and time to be announced.
