Marjorie Pauline Gould, age 96, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the Lawrence County Manor in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She was born August 10, 1923, in Dunnegan, Missouri, the daughter of James Clyde and Hattie Ethel (Paul) Litle. Marjorie was raised in Humansville, Missouri, and graduated from Humansville High School. After graduation she worked as a secretary for a Hospital and then as a Dentist Assistant. On August 6, 1944, she married William Robert Gould, in Dunnegan, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2003. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Jean Meredith and her husband, Earnest, of Aurora; son-in-law Tim Steeley of Mt. Vernon; six grandchildren, Mark Steeley and his wife, Brittni, of Mt. Vernon, Micheal Steeley of Kansas City, Missouri, John Brooks Jr. of Aurora, Victoria McGlothlin and her husband, Austin, of Aurora, Brittany Gould of Aurora and Christal Curtis of Carthage, Missouri, and nine great-grandchildren. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Hattie, husband, William, son, David Gould, great-grandson, Mattehew Steeley, sister, Itress Nottingham and three brothers, Loren, Ralph and Paul Litle. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Orange Cumberland Presbyterian Church with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Orange Cemetery.
