Katherine Gastier Paterson, 74, residing in Milan, passed away Tuesday morning, January 14, 2020 at her home following a lengthy illness. Kathi was born on January 9, 1946 in Sandusky, OH to the late John and Dorcas (Paul) Gastier. Kathi graduated from Milan High School in 1964. She was a member of The Chapel. Kathi volunteered at The Chapel, Erie County 4-H and a member of the Berlin-Milan School Board. Kathi is survived her daughters, Jennifer (Kirby) Scheer of MO, Leanne Myers of AZ, Melissa (Brandon) Davis of Milan and Sheryl (Paul) Stecker of Martins Ferry, OH; 7 grandchildren; sister, Ann Patella of Hiram, OH; brother, Ted (Donna) Gastier of Milan and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. In addition to her parents, Kathi is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Paterson in 2005. Friends may call on Saturday, January 18, 2019 from 9:00 am until the time of her Celebration of Life at 11:00 am at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky.
