Patricia Ann Smith 75, of Kenockee Township, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020. She was born in Detroit, December 8, 1944, the daughter of the late Luka and Mary (Briskey) Zauhar. Her marriage to Robert Smith was February 26, 1972, in Detroit. Patricia worked for 30 years as an EKG and Echo Technician at Holy Cross Hospital and retired at the former Port Huron Hospital. She loved her family and grandkids, as well as her cats and dogs. She enjoyed quilting and she was a big sports fan and enjoyed attending her grandkids sporting events. Patricia was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett. Surviving in addition to her husband Robert of 47 years is a son, Rob Smith of Avoca; two daughters, Vickie Smith of Port Huron and Jessica Smith of Marysville; and three grandchildren, R.J., Brooklynn, and Brianne Smith. The family honors the memory of Patricia and invites you to visit and share memories Friday, January 17, 2020, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with rosary devotion services at 6:00 p.m. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 18, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett, with 9:30 a.m. visiting. Fr. Tom Kuehnemund, pastor,will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Memorials are suggested to “Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Emmett”.
