PAYNE, Sherry Darlene – After a long courageous battle, Sherry passed away at her home in Frankford on Sunday, January 5th, 2020 at the age of 66. Daughter of the late Cecil and Ella Mayhew (nee Mackey). Pre-deceased by her husband Frank Payne. Survived by her beloved companion Gary Reynolds. Dear mother to Tanya Boyle (Steve) of Frankford and cherished nana of Hadlee. Survived by her siblings Judy (late Garry) Melarkey, Wanda McLeod (Stewart), Billy, Eric, Irvin, and Larry Mayhew. Also survived by sisters-in-law Wendy Farrell (Joe), Ronda Strong (Hugh) and Mona Ryckman (Dave), and brother-in-law Don Reynolds (late Barb). Sherry is pre-deceased by her brother Robert Mayhew (survived by Carolyn) and sisters Bonnie Cannon (survived by Brian), and Jennifer Clarke. She will be forever missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, her “Bean Bake” family and many special friends. Friends are invited to call at the Frankford Funeral Chapel, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford (613-398-6400) on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, January 10th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Warren Vollmer officiating. Interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Frankford in the spring.
