Marleane Heth

Marleane Marie Heth, 96, of Burleson passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019. She was born Dec. 2, 1923, in Huron, South Dakota, to Albert Lewis and Magdalene Marie (Kohnert) Owens. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, 2019, with the Rev. Skip Blancett officiating. Interment will be held at Salado Cemetery in Salado, Texas. Marney loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all her heart and was a member of Salado U.M.C. for decades. She loved golf and was an avid golfer. She also loved to line dance. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker for her family. She loved to take care of her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a proud and honored military wife. Marney was a tremendous hostess. You never left thirsty or hungry. She worked in relief efforts when tornados and disasters would arise. She hosted a Bible study in her home for many years. She loved playing and listening to the piano. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Heth; daughter, Pam Adamson; and one sister. She is survived by her daughter, Patti Pace and husband, Frank, of Burleson; brother, Harold Owen of Huron, South Dakota; grandchildren, Ian Pace and wife, Margo, and Grady Pace and wife Shannah; and great-grandchildren, Macey N. Pace, Quinn C. Pace, Zander J. Pace and Gavin R. Pace. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Wings of Hope Equitherapy at wingsofhopehorses.org
