Sara Monroe

Biscoe - Sara Anna Shuping Monroe, age 69, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019, at Autumn Care Nursing & Rehabilitation in Biscoe. Sara was born in Montgomery County on March 16, 1950, to Zebulon Vance and Ethel Maness Shuping. She worked in food service at Samarcand Manor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa King. She is survived by her son, Chris Monroe of Star; daughter, Amanda Monroe of Troy; brothers, Jimmy Shuping of Biscoe and Sam Shuping and wife, Wanda, of Candor; grandchildren, Chelsey Monroe, Sierra Maness, Danika Britt, Jennah, Jacob, Cory, and Wesley King; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas King, E.J. King, Raelyn King, Lawson King, Brado n King, Kaden King, and Ayden Monroe. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.phillipsfh.com. Phillips Funeral Home in Star is serving the family.
