Almon James Hix

Almon James (AJ) Hix, 33, of Acworth, GA died suddenly on December 21, 2019. He was born June 9, 1986 in Greenville, SC and was the son of Roger Hix & Diane Welch Hix. Greatly loved by many. AJ was a certified electrician, Journeyman, from the IEC of Atlanta. He was currently working for Vantix Electric and was promoted to foreman for his industry knowledge, work ethic, quality of work and leadership skills. He loved his job along with the people he worked with and was very good at what he did. He was a loving husband and amazing dad with a generous humble heart, fun loving attitude and gorgeous smile. He had a way of making everyone around him feel comfortable. He had a gift to motivate and encourage those that needed it. He had the most generous heart and would help anyone in need - a neighbor, a stranger, someone getting picked on, the underdog, anyone that needed it at any time. He had so many natural gifts - athleticism, cheerfulness, his sense of humor and spontaneity, cooking from scratch, and not to mention he was so very handsome. He loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed life, he enjoyed people, he enjoyed talking and having good conversation with friends old and new. He was easy to talk to, easy to laugh with, easy to be around and easy to love. He was truly loved by so many and will be greatly missed! Surviving family members are his wife, Anna Heimburger Hix, two children; son, Jordan James Hix, daughter, Sienna Gracie Hix & Jack Jack the family dog; mother, Diane Hix, father, Roger Hix, and two brothers Steve & Anthony Cummings among aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmothers. Services will be held Monday, December 30, 2019 with a visitation to be held at 2 PM and a graveside service to follow at 3 PM at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
