Nancy Mooney

Nancy Mooney, 94, of Ewing, NJ entered into God’s eternal rest on Monday, December 23, 2019 at home surrounded by loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Nancy was a lifelong area resident. She was a member, deacon and Elder of the Covenant Presbyterian Church, she also served as head of the rummage for 35 years. Nancy was a graduate of Trenton Central High School, Class of 1944 as well as chairlady for the reunion. She served as past president of the choir and of the Ewing Art Group. Nancy taught arts and crafts to Girl Scout leaders. She loved nothing more than family and God. She loved to bake and cook. Nancy was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. Daughter of the late Mathew and Theresa (Chiavetta) DiNola; beloved wife of the late John A. Mooney; sister of the late Jack, Joseph and Emilia DiNola; Nancy is survived by her three children, Joy DeBoskey, Jack M. Mooney and Mathew and Jennifer Mooney; five loving grandchildren, Trevor and Amber Mooney, Jonathan Conant and wife Leslie, Jessica Conant and husband Scott Hein, Eric DeBoskey and Edward DeBoskey; eight great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Patricia Puliti; dear friends, James Zak and Ronald Adler; as well as many other family and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, December 28, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Presbyterian funeral services will follow at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Ann Schoonover of Ewing Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Rd., Ewing, NJ.
