Megan Rebecca Norris Ellegood, 37, of Owensboro, KY, formerly of Bedford, KY, passed away on October 27, 2019 in Owensboro, KY. She was born on May 1, 1982 to Bryan “Butch” Norris and Lavinia Campbell Norris in Louisville, KY. Megan enjoyed nature, being out of doors, and hiking. She loved animals. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafts and woodworking projects. Megan was a member of the American Legion Post #9 in Madison, IN. She leaves to mourn her untimely passing, her mother, Lavinia Campbell Norris of Bedford, KY; her father, Bryan “Butch” Norris and his wife Cynthia of Bardstown, KY; her children, Dakota Anthony Ellegood, and Magnolia Rain Ellegood both of Milton, KY; siblings, Michael Dewayne Campbell and his husband Harold Lawson of Louisville, KY, Johnny Edward Bohannon of Bedford, KY, JoAnn Marie Bohannon Truman of LaGrange, KY, Kathryn Lynn Warren and her husband Wayne of Pendleton, KY, and Sheila Rosalena Kennette and her husband Thomas of Madison, IN; and a host of family and friends all of whom will miss her dearly.May 1, 1982 - October 27, 201905/01/198210/27/2019
