Robert C Nichols
<p>Nichols III, Robert C.,69, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Nichols was born in Hoboken, raised in Union City, lived in Jersey City for 30 years and has been a resident of North Arlington for the past 16 years. Robert was a United States Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War 1963-1969. He continued his service both active and reserve Navy EM1 until 1993 and then worked as an Electrician for ADT, Jersey City. He was a member of IBEW Local #3, New York City and the American Legion Post #107 of Hoboken, where he served as their Finance Officer. He became the Business Agent for Local #3 until he retired in 2011. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Elaine (nee Oriolo) Nichols, by his loving sons, Robert C. Nichols, IV & his wife, Julie and James A. Nichols & his wife, Maria, by his dear grandchildren, Matthew, Molly, Joshua, Robbie, Mikey and Jimmy, by his sisters, Patricia and Frances Nichols, by his brother, William Nichols and by his niece, Kim and numerous cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service held at the Nazare Memorial Home, Inc., 403 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst on Friday, August 14, 2015 at 8PM. Private Cremation.
