Annie Joyce Morgan, 83, of Channelview, went home to be with her Lord on May 21, 2015. Known as Joyce to family and friends, she was born July 11, 1931 in Bowden, Alabama to parents, John Sheridan & Amie Amanda Horton. She had worked and retired from Gerland Food's in Channelview and had been an active and devoted Avon representative for many years to support her family. She is preceded in death by her parents and by brothers, Elkins Horton, & Curtis Horton and by sisters, Odessa Waldrep, Josie Horton and Cleo Horton. She is survived by her children, Michael Wheeler, and his wife Donna Sue, Chris Morgan, and his wife Ann and Lynne Jaynes; and by grandchildren, Casie Rodriquez, and husband Ryan, Seth Larkin, Ian & Patrick Morgan, Jay Butler & wife, Stephanie; Michael Rabson &, husband Rich, Susie Ringo & husband Michael; and Rene O'dell & husband, Robby; by great-grandchildren, Kiersten Varnado, Kristiana Barras, Lizet & Emery Rodriquez, Tina Knight, Colton McClendon, Connie McClendon, Cheltzie Rabson, Daniel Ringo, Keiren Rabson and Whisper Lindquist and Jonathan O'dell; and by great-great-grandsons, Justin Knight and Thomas Hindnan. A visitation and service will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at South Drive Baptist Church, 15229 South Drive, Channelview, Texas with the visitation starting at 5:00 p.m and services to celebrate her homegoing to start at 7:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest in San Jacinto Memorial Park on Wednesday morning May 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. under the direction of Carter Funeral Home.July 11, 1931 - May 21, 201507/11/193105/21/2015
