<p>Eugene Charles Cervi, 60, of Accident, MD, died Monday, July 6, 2026, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.</p><p><br></p><p>Born February 1, 1966, in Bedford, PA, he was the son of the late Eugene E. and Carol (Bevan) Cervi. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Jordan) Cervi.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Cervi was a truck driver for various trucking companies and he also worked as a Teamsters Pipeliner. He was a 40-year member of Deep Creek Vol. Fire Dept., 16 of those years as Captain and for the last 10 years has been the top responder. He was also a member of Teamsters Union, Local 538 and volunteered with various community organizations.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by two sons, Anthony C. (Sarah) Cervi and Coltan L. Cervi; two grandchildren, Eli and Evie; one sister, LeeAnn (Mark) Diehl; nephew, Corey; niece, Chelsea; and numerous other nieces and nephews; partner, Teresa Guthrie and her family, children, Trista (Scott) Hotsinpiller, JR (Kayla) Guthrie, Jake Guthrie, and Amelia Guthrie; grandchildren, Trinity (Chris), Abby (Bryson), Harper, Eliza, Karmen, and Jaycee; great-grandchild, Christian.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends will be received at the Crossroads Church, 17781 Garrett Hwy., Oakland, MD, 21550, on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 12-3 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the church at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Russell Liller officiating. Cremation will follow the services.</p><p><br></p><p>Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Deep Creek Vol. Fire Dept. in Eugene’s name, P.O.
