<p>Patricia Ann (Gorton) Peterson, age 86, went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2026 at Fieldstone Memory Care surrounded by her family.</p><p><br></p><p>Patty was born December 22, 1939 in Brainerd, Minnesota, to Kenneth and Dolores Gorton. Patty moved with her family to Oregon in 1955.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Dale Peterson; second husband Sam Burlet, her son Richard Peterson, grandson Matthew Reaves, three sisters; Darlene, Nancy, and Betty Jo.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by three daughters; Cindy, Bunny, and Judy; sisters; Joyce and Debbie, eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Patty was married to Dale for fifty years, mother of four children, a great cook, championship pie baker, gardener, and devoted Christian.</p><p><br></p><p>Patty was a woman of many talents; Writer, Fair Manager, Equestrian Elegance Events, Tennessee Walking Horse Magazine, and Real Estate Broker.</p><p><br></p><p>A memorial service celebrating Patricia’s exceptional life will be held at Macy & Son Funeral Home on April 28, 2026, at 1:00pm.
