Obituary of Timothy Allen Fountain

With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Timothy Allen Fountain, who took his final salute, unafraid and with an open heart, surrounded by his loving daughters on April 3, 2026, at the age of 58.

Timothy is survived by his children, Kalila and Nya Fountain, and his former wife, Dolores Fountain; and his sisters, Paula Turner, Karen Johnson, and Barbara Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Josie Jones. He also had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.

He honorably served his country in the United States Army for 26 years, dedicating his life to protecting others and upholding the values of courage, discipline, and service. During his distinguished military career, he earned the rank of Sergeant First Class (E-8) and served as an Army Special Forces Ranger and Senior Sergeant. His commitment, strength, and leadership left a lasting impact on those who served beside him. Timothy is a respected leader that will be remembered for his resilience, kindness, patience, and unwavering devotion to his family and country.

Timothy dedicated his life to being a provider for his family and the ones he loved. He was a man who truly believed in helping others in any way he could. Timothy was selfless by nature, a giver, not a taker, someone who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His kindness left a lasting mark on everyone he met. He had an incredible ability to make people smile and feel welcomed. He loved to have fun, joke around, and have good vibes. His quick mind brought joy and light-heartedness to so many moments the family has endured over the years. Timothy focused on the little things and made sure he took the extra mile to make any celebration (birthdays, holidays, graduations) a memorable experience, with no hesitation, complaints, or questions asked; he truly gave from the authenticity of his heart. He always encouraged and motivated anyone in his path to go after their dreams or to get an education. He would give meaningful advice and might even make you a personalized life plan. He was a man of extraordinary intellect, but even more importantly, a man of incredible integrity. Timothy was very easy to talk to, he would sit and spend time telling stories and exchanging knowledge. A brilliant mind, a sharp wit, a good soul.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Angelus Chapel. A burial service at 2:00 p.m will follow, and a reception from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
