<p>Nancy (Angell) Carter, 84, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 30, 2026. She was born on September 22, 1941, in Providence, RI, to the late Howard and Doris (Farr) Angell.</p><p><br></p><p>She worked for many years as a histologist at Women & Infants Hospital. Following her retirement, she continued her commitment to helping at the lab by volunteering, always guided by her deep sense of purpose and kindness.</p><p><br></p><p>A woman of strong faith, Nancy was a longtime and devoted member of Phillip Memorial Baptist Church. Over the years she was involved with the church’s Board of Education, Worship Committee and bazaar, giving generously of her time and talents to her church community.</p><p><br></p><p>Nancy also enjoyed a successful 30-year career as a Mary Kay consultant, where she built many meaningful and lasting friendships. She was known for her positive attitude and infectious laugh. Whether attending activities at the Pilgrim Senior Center in Warwick or participating in church events, Nancy embraced every opportunity to connect with others.</p><p><br></p><p>She took great pride in her appearance and had a particular love for shopping—especially for shoes. Above all, Nancy was a devoted and loving mother, but her greatest joy in life was being “Grandma Nancy” to her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her loving children, Craig Boudreau and his wife Kristen of Coventry, and Cindi LaCroix and her husband Roy of Warwick; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda, Andrew, Brandon, and Stephanie; her adored great-grandchildren, Asher, August, and Beckham; and her beloved cat, Chloe, who brought her comfort and companionship throughout the years.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be private.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made to ASPCA or Phillips Memorial Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>September 22, 1941 - March 30, 202609/22/194103/30/2026
