<p>Obituary for Michael A. Tigani Jr.</p><p>Michael A. Tigani Jr., a devoted husband, beloved son, and cherished member of the Harrison community, passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 61 surrounded by his dear friends and family. Michael's loss leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p><p>Michael’s greatest joy was his life with his loving & devoted wife, Maria Cervone Tigani, with whom he shared deep love, partnership, and unwavering devotion. Their bond was a testament to loyalty, resilience, and the quiet strength of a life built together.</p><p><br></p><p>Born to Michael Angelo Tigani and Rosemarie Licare Tigani, Michael grew with long time friends and family with his siblings: Georgiann Masciola (John), Christopher Tigani (Teri), and his brother Ernie Tigani, who predeceased him (Pam).</p><p><br></p><p>Michael’s life was enriched by the presence of many uncles who guided and supported him throughout his journey. He is survived by Rocco Versace (Stephanie) and Frank Versace, and is reunited in eternal rest with his deceased uncles Domenick Versace, Dominick “Butch” Licare, and Angelo “Bosco” Licare. His legacy continues through the many nieces, nephews, and godchildren who adored him and will forever carry his memory forward.</p><p><br></p><p>Michael was a man defined by service—service to his family, his community, and the people around him. He dedicated many years as a longtime Harrison Sanitation worker, where he was known for his reliability, kindness, and strong work ethic. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his career; Michael proudly served as a longtime volunteer firefighter, bravely giving his time and energy to protect and support his neighbors.</p><p><br></p><p>Michael will be remembered for his generous spirit, his warm heart, and the way he made every person feel seen and valued. His laughter, his stories, and his steady presence will be missed beyond measure.</p><p><br></p><p>May his memory be a blessing, and may those who loved him find comfort in knowing he touched countless lives with grace, humility, and love.</p><p><br></p><p>In Lieu of flowers the family asks for your donation in Michael A.
