<p>Burson</p><p> Heflin - James Frank Burson, 83, died Sunday, March 8, 2026 at his residence.</p><p> Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Pinetucky Baptist Church with the Rev. G. W. Burson and Rev. Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Pinetucky Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.</p><p>Survivors include:</p><p>Daughter - Tammy (Tony) Parris</p><p>Son - James Brian (Tasha) Burson</p><p>Brother - G. W. Burson</p><p>Brother - Buddy (Jearldine) Burson</p><p>Grandchildren - Janie Edwards, Jay (Caty) Edwards, Breanna (Logan) Turner, Leah Burson, Grayson Burson, Jeremiah (Kaysie) Parris, and Jeffrey Parris.</p><p>Great Grandchildren - 7</p><p>Several Nieces and Nephews</p><p>Pallbearers will be: Thomas Langley, Billy Ayres, Glenn Williamson, David Burson, Stacy Jordan, and Nathan Burson.</p><p>Frank was born Oct. 26, 1942 in Bowdon, Ga. and served a term in th U. S. Navy as a Diesel Mechanic on the USS Helena. In July of 1966 he married Deborah Anne Smith and retired from Moore Business Forms after 22 years of employment and the retired from OFS Fitel after 25 plus years. Frank was a ordain minister and member of Pinetucky Baptist Church since the 1970's until his death, and member of the Micaville Vol Fire Department. Frank helped/served his community, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Frank was involved on several mission trips to Honduras, Tanzania, and the United States. He was preceded in death by his parents, Radford and Dicie Burson, his wife, Deborah, and sister in law, Beatrice Burson.</p>
