<p>Kolby Donald Carter-Alden, age 19, of Chipman, New Brunswick, passed away on January 24, 2026. Kolby was born on December 11, 2006, in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Kolby was a treasured son, loving brother, and supportive friend, and will be remembered for his laughter, bright smile, ambition, outgoing personality, and love for animals, especially his dog Gunner. </p><p><br></p><p>Kolby is survived by his mother, Kristie Carter; stepfather, Nelson Grant; sisters, Kassidy Carter (Russell Mckenelley), Shaylynn Grant and Lily Grant; uncle, Scott Carter; many cousins; and many close friends. He is predeceased by his grandmother, Sherry-Lee Carter, his great-grandmother, Nancy Cole, his great-grandfather, Donald Cole, and his great-uncle Johnny Cole. </p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of life for Kolby will be held at the United Baptist Church of Minto on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm. A reception will follow at the church.
