<p><p>Virgil E. Norris, 72, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2026.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil was a graduate of Louisville High School Class of 1972 and a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lynn Norris (Newhouse); daughter and son-in-law Melissa and Mike Scott, granddaughters Katelyn, Karlee and Kendra Scott; son and daughter-in-law Kurt and Abby Norris, grandson Landon and two granddaughters Lily and Hailey; daughter and son-in-law Jenna and Lee Roth.</p><p><br></p><p>Virgil worked for Republic Steel for 30 years and was an avid outdoorsman.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends Saturday, January 31, 2026, 10-11am at Paquelet-Falk Funeral Home, 303 S. Chapel Street, Louisville, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00am. Interment Union Cemetery.</p><p><br></p></p>
