<p>Dianne Elizabeth Vallette Sonia, age 79, of Purlear, passed away peacefully, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at her home. She was born August 23, 1946, in Waterville, New York to Howard Gilbert and Suzanne Reeves Stanton Vallette. Dianne was the best mother anyone could have had. She was a very talented lady with her hands, a very strong woman, and also stubborn. Once you met her, you loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Richard Sonia, Sr.; and a sister, Suzanne Foley. Dianne will be deeply missed.</p><p><br></p><p>Those surviving are her son, Richard James Sonia, Jr.; daughter, Suzette Sonia Sebastian; and brother, Peter Vallette.</p><p><br></p><p>No service will be held.
