<p>Pauline Catherine (Nee Safrit) Calabrese</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>FAIRPORT- passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at the age of 88. Friends may call from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, January 15, at the Palmisano Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee Street, Geneva. A service will follow the calling hours at 1 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14620.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Pauline was born, and grew up in Concord, NC. While on vacation to Carolina Beach in 1952, she met the love of her life, James Calabrese, who was on a leave from the U.S. Army. They married in 1954 and had a daughter Jammie in 1955. After living in Geneva, NY they eventually settled in Rochester. Pauline loved coffee, traveling, casinos and enjoying time with her family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her daughter Jammie (Bill) Katerle; grandchildren April (Kevin) Bischoping, James (Sarah) Katerle, Laura (Mike) Wynne; great grandchildren Gabriel, Aaron, Autumn (Abe), Anthony, Felicity, Ethan. Liam, Cameron, Gianna, Justus, Madeleine, Vanessa, Kennedy and Giovanni; great great grandchild Zane; sister Carolyn Fink of NC; sisters-in-law Shirley Safrit of NC and Antoinette Edgar; numerous nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Pauline is predeceased by her dear husband James Calabrese.</p>May 31, 1937 - December 30, 202505/31/193712/30/2025
