<p>Terrilee Sterken, 79, of Chicago IL, passed away on December 23, 2025, in Elgin IL. She was born on April 11, 1946 to her parents Raymond and Marilyn (nee Webster) Zielinksi. She was united in marriage to Robert Sterken.</p><p><br></p><p>Terrilee loved to spend time with her family, even if it was just spent at home, but also enjoyed outings to the movie theatres, shopping, and restaurants. She particularly liked Harry Potter and would watch it anytime she caught it on television.</p><p><br></p><p>Some of her hobbies included coloring, sudoku, and reading. She also enjoyed a cruise on the motorcycle.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her children, Rose McCuan of Aurora IL, Jeffrey Sterken of Chicago IL, and Jennifer Sterken of North Aurora IL; her grandchildren Marie Nunn, Mackenzie Brower, McKale Leach, Catarina Sterken, and Georgina Sterken; her siblings Ronald Zielinski and Raymond Zielinski.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Catherine Duszka.</p><p><br></p><p>A Celebration of Life will be held at the Moss Family Funeral Home; 209 South Batavia Avenue, Batavia IL 60510 on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 1:00pm until 4:00 p.m.</p><p><br></p>April 11, 1946 - December 23, 202504/11/194612/23/2025
