Willard Cleveland Stewart known as Willard to his friends and loved ones, passed away peacefully on December
2, 2025, at his home in Interlachen, Putnam, Florida. Born on July 8, 1955, in Palatka (Baywood),
Putnam, Florida, Willard was a man whose presence was as warm and welcoming as the Florida sun.
Willard was husband to Linda Evans Stewart, his devoted partner in life for 44 years. He was a caring
father to his sons, Michael Jason Stewart and Richard (Ricky) Allen Stewart. His grandchildren, Jamie and
Dalton Stewart, will always remember their grandfathers laughter and the gentle wisdom he shared.
Willards early life was shared with his siblings, and he is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Mary S.
Folsom and Annie Lou Green. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis Willard and Clara Dell
(Register) Stewart, his sisters Betty Ann Stewart, Patricia Stewart, and his brother Tony Duncan. The
memories created with his family will be cherished and passed down through generations.
Though he held a GED, Willard was a testament to the fact that education extends far beyond the walls
of a classroom. Willard was skilled with automotive and small engines/equipment repairs, as well as
with his carpentry works.
Willards loved fishing, as he found peace and joy in the simple pleasure of casting a line into the water
and just being out in the natural nature settings.
As we say goodbye to Willard, we celebrate a life that was filled with care, work, and cherished
moments. Rest in peace, Willard.
