<p>Elaine Infanti (nee Hefferty, later Noto), 80, of Somerset, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at home. Elaine was born and raised in New Brunswick, later lived in Old Bridge, NJ and finally Somerset, NJ.</p><p><br></p><p>Elaine was a 1963 graduate of the first graduating class of Franklin High School. She worked for Twin County Grocers, Iselin, NJ and then Stop & Shop Supermarket Company as an Administrative Assistant, before retiring to care for her grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Elaine volunteered weekly for many years and cherished her time at Project PAUL, non-profit agency. She enjoyed being a merchant at Collingwood Flea Market, excelled at Circle A Word puzzles, was creative at coloring, an avid reader and thrifter, but most of all, loved spending time with family and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Elaine was the beloved wife of her predeceased husband, Sabino Infanti. She was predeceased by her brother, James Hefferty; her mother, Lillian Sciarratta and stepfather Anthony Sciarratta. She is survived by her sons, Anthony Noto and his wife Pauline, and Robert Noto. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Lilliana and Nicole; and her granddog, Tino.</p><p><br></p><p>A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Church, New Brunswick. Inurnment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick.</p><p><br></p>October 4, 1945 - December 13, 202510/04/194512/13/2025
