<p>With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Hubert Wong.</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph was born in Georgetown, Guyana on September 18,1949 and went home to be with the Lord on December 13,2025. Joseph is survived by his wife Arlene, his daughter Jolene, grandson Cooper,</p><p>sisters Hazel Fernandes and Evadne Dornellas and brothers Orvil, Donald, Gordon and Trevor. Joseph is pre-deceased by his parents Joseph Wong Sr and Elaine Wong and his sister Violet Jordan and brother Ronald Wong.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph developed a love of music at an early age and played in the Graduates Band and the Executives Combo in Guyana while working at Sandbach Parker and GNTC.</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph and Arlene moved to Venezuela in 1979 and remained there until 1994 when they migrated to Florida. While living in Venezuala, Joseph worked at the British and American Embassies. After moving to Florida, Joseph worked at Gulliver Academy until his retirement.</p><p><br></p><p>Joseph was a talented musician and enjoyed entertaining with his music while sipping his Johnny Walker. Joseph had a great passion for dominoes which he played on a regular basis and also enjoyed looking at cricket games on TV.</p><p><br></p><p>Jospeh was a devoted family man and a loyal friend to many and will be missed ! Rest in Peace Joey.</p>
