Josephine A. Sylvestre
<p><p>Josephine A. (Fruzenski) Sylvestre 88, a lifelong resident of Central Falls passed away at The Miriam Hospital on Sunday November 23, 2025. She was the wife of the late Oliver Sylvestre. </p><br> <p>Josephine was born on November 4, 1937, at the former Notre Dame Hospital in Central Falls, daughter of the late Mary (Kielbasa) and Joseph Fruzenski. She attended the former St. Joseph’s School in Central Falls. Mrs. Sylvestre was an excellent homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother. As her life progressed, and her role changed, Josephine adapted to life as a grandmother with joy and grace. One of her passions was helping her children raise her grandchildren and later helping with her great grandchildren. </p><br> <p>Josephine A. Sylvestre is survived by 2 daughters; Linda Reynolds of Central Falls, Susan LaBarre of Woonsocket and 5 sons Oliver Sylvestre, Jr. of Warwick, Alan Sylvestre of Norton, MA, John Sylvestre of Pawtucket, Richard Sylvestre of Manville and Scott Sylvestre of Ashford, CT. Mrs. Sylvestre was a proud grandmother of 16 and a devoted great grandmother of 11. She was the sister of the late Karl Fruzenski.</p><br> <p>Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Friday November 28th from 5-8pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home151 Cross St. Central Falls. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.</p><br> <p>In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Josephine A.
