Randall "Randy" King
<p>Randall (Randy) Ray King of Walthill, NE, passed into the loving arms of his Savior on October 27, 2025. Randy was born to Leford and Marjorie King on April 29, 1954. He graduated from Walthill Public School, class of 1972. He met and later married the love of his life, Carol Gomez (Roarson) on June 9, 1982, in Walthill.</p><p><br></p><p>At the start of their marriage, Randy had his own construction company. He worked as a Thurston County road grader for sixteen years. He was a millwright for ConAgra Foods in South Sioux City, NE for 5 years. Finally, he worked for many years as a driver for King's Disposal.</p><p><br></p><p>Randy was beloved by friends and family and especially known for his sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing and hunting deer, duck, coon, dove and coyotes. Randy made many memories on the rodeo trail and raised his own cattle for many years. His loved ones knew how much satisfaction he found in getting good deals at auctions.</p><p><br></p><p>Randy is survived by his wife, Jeanne of Walthill; son Drew (Tiffany) King of Walthill; son Kyle (Rita) Gomez of Rosalie, NE; daughter Lisa Beaudette of Walthill; son Chad (Becky) Gomez of Walthill; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; sister JoDee Orr (Ralph) of South Sioux City, NE; brother RuVan King of Decatur, NE; brother-in-law Dennis Roarson of Onawa, IA; sister-in-law Beverly Roarson of Sloan, IA.</p><p>Randy is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Rodney King and Rocky King; infant brother Lloyd Lee King; brothers-in-law Jerry Roarson and Jon Roarson; and sisters-in-law Janice Roarson and Brenda Roarson.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of Randy's life will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 1 at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 805 Thurston Avenue Pender, NE 68047. Separately, a private graveside service for family will be held at Walthill Evergreen Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>Randy's family wishes to express gratitude to St. Croix Hospice of Siouxland and the many people who visited and helped care for Randy.
