<p><p>Mary Ellen “Mimi” (O’Brien) Woodland passed away on October 10, 2025. She was 87 years old, born July 28, 1938, in Wheeling WV to the late Francis J. and Margaret Yaeger O’Brien.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her husband John W. Woodland, daughters Ann (Brian) Geniusz of Lewis Center, OH and Dr. Jennifer L. Woodland (Jim Leinfelder) of Minneapolis, MN. Her sister, Sister Marguerite O’Brien CSJ, of Wheeling. Granddaughters Katie and Abby Geniusz, and Nora Leinfelder.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a 1956 Graduate of St. Joseph Academy, helped organize several class reunions and monthly SJA Classmates lunches. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Retired secretary St. Mary’s Central School. Volunteer at St. Clairsville Food Pantry for over 20 years. Treasurer of St. Clairsville Council of Churches. Member of Auxiliary of the Congregation of St. Joseph. Past Board Member and Treasurer of the Auxiliary of Wheeling Hospital.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends will be received at St Mary’s Catholic Church on October 15th, 2025 from 12:00 – 2:00 until time of service, which will be a Mass of Christian Burial, celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Fr.
