<p>Alfred E. Marsocci, better known as Noxie, died on Sunday, September 28, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine A. (Marchand) Marsocci and revered father of Karen Lee (Marsocci) Deslauriers and son in law Robert N. Deslauriers, Jr. Gerri and Noxie were married for sixty two wonderful years. Born in West Warwick, he was the son of Samuel and Ida (DiCarlo) Marsocci.</p><p><br></p><p>He was the proud and loving grandfather of Alyssa M. Speranza, Ryan A. Deslauriers and Albert J. Speranza and the doting Pop Pop of Anthony Speranza. He was also survived by his Sister, Marianna Marsocci, Sister in law Jeanette Marsocci, Sister in Law Mary Martin and brother in law Ken Martin. He was also the proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Noxie was predeceased by his brother Samuel Marsocci, brother in law Alan Marchand and sister in law Susan Marchand.</p><p><br></p><p>He was a graduate of Lockwood High School. A man of many talents, upon graduation from high school he joined the family business as a stone mason. His distinctive work is on display throughout the state. He later entered the electrical supply business and retired as Inside Sales Manager for Northeast Electric.</p><p><br></p><p>Nox’s creative talents are on display in the many unique projects he completed, such as his granite lighthouse, deck and gazebo and the many fireplaces he built for family and friends. He was a man who treasured family above all else and would help anyone without a second thought.</p><p><br></p><p>Visitation will be held from 4-7pm at Avery Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia Street, Wakefield, on Thursday, October 2nd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, October 3rd at St. Romuald’s Chapel, Atlantic Avenue, Matunuck.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to remember Noxie may honor him with a contribution to St. Francis Church, Wakefield, or Hope Health, 1085 No. Main St. Providence, R.I. 02904</p><p><br></p>
