<p>Castella Booker was born September 4, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Nolan and Ethel Boyd; she was the eldest of four children.</p><p><br></p><p>Cassie, as she was called by family and friends, was raised in Cleveland Ohio, where she attended Cleveland Public Schools. She confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church for many years where she sang in the choir.</p><p><br></p><p>In her early years Cassie worked for a laundry company. She was later certified and worked as an STNA.</p><p><br></p><p>Castella Booker departed this life on September 23, 2025 at the age of 83. She is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Roseberry and Elaine Bumgarner (Terry Sr.); nieces and nephews, Earl, Terry Jr., Dennis, Ericka, Andre, Andrea, and James; great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.</p>September 4, 1942 - September 23, 202509/04/194209/23/2025
