<p>Ellsworth</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra Loraine Hisler, 88, died August 29, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. She was born in Ellsworth on March 6, 1937, the daughter of Kenneth A. and Sarah E. (Clark) Higgins.</p><p><br></p><p>Sandra had a number of hobbies. She loved to do craft projects, make ornaments and wreaths with Cammy. Anything that was suggested she would immediately get involved with the craft. She enjoyed watching horror movies and doing word search puzzles. She loved watching TV and most especially the QVC and Home Restoration channels. Her family remembers her as the early riser on Christmas Day sometimes as early as 3am! Her favorite weekend fun was going to the estate and yard sales.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by 5 daughters: Amber Austin and husband Jeff of Sullivan, Denise Carrow of Dixfield, Sonda Dee Hamilton, Cammy Edgecomb and husband Ross all of Mariaville and Merlene Flewelling and husband Dick of Hancock; brother Philip Higgins of Fl; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; she will be greatly missed by her special cat Tilly. Sandra was predeceased by 2 children, Lorraine Gray and Merle Hisler; sisters Anita, Jackie and Olive and a granddaughter Felisha Gray.</p><p><br></p><p>Private graveside services will be held at Mackenzie Cemetery (Woodbine), Ellsworth.</p><p><br></p><p>Those who desire may make contributions in Sandra’s memory to the SPCA of Hancock County,141 Bar Harbor Road, Trenton, ME 04605.</p><p><br></p><p>Condolences may be expressed at www.jordanfernald.com</p><p><br></p>March 6, 1937 - August 29, 202503/06/193708/29/2025
