<p><p>BURNS, Ken ‘Kenny’ – Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday August 3, 2025 at the age of 67. Cherished father of Terra (Tyler) Willard, Ryan Burns, Colin Burns and loving grandfather of Norah, Riley, Logan, Sloan. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters Joanne (Cam) Eager, Caryl (Dale) Wright, sister-in-law Susan Burns, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, as well as the mother of his children Laurie (nee Flake). Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Phyllis (nee Johnston) Burns, brother Raymond. Ken loved playing baseball and, in his later years, playing golf – enjoying an annual trip with ‘The Boys of Myrtle Beach.’ He took great pride in spending time with his granddaughters and cheering them on as they played sports. Ken worked for many years in the marine industry and was a longtime member of the The Marine Club. He also worked at Community Care, and was a dear friend to Betty-Lou and the late Ken Souter. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday August 17, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm at Willodell Golf Club of Niagara (10325 Willodell Road, Niagara Falls), with a brief ceremony to be held at 3 pm. In memory of Kenny, memorial contributions may be made to Diabetes Canada, and would be appreciated.
