<p><b>Carmina Morales, age 62, of Washington Township, Michigan, died Sunday, July 13, 2025 at Henry Ford Macomb of Clinton Twp., MI. Carmina Medrano was born December 12, 1962 in La Calera, Salvatierra, Guanajuato, Mexico. She is the daughter of the late Antonio and the late Angelina (Aguilar) Medrano. She grew up in Mexico and at the age of 14, Carmina moved to Chicago, IL and then moved to Capac, MI. Carmina attended school in Capac and Imlay City, MI. She married Manuel Morales on April 30, 1988 in Imlay City, Michigan.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>She was a very hard worker and loved raising her family. Under post Governor Blanchard, Carmina was employed on the Michigan Labor Committee. She also was employed by MIOSHA part-time for a period of time.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Carmina was a former member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Capac, MI and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Imlay City, MI. She helped at eh Hispanic Service Center in Imlay City.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>She is survived by: her husband, Manuel Morales; daughters, Vanessa (Antonio) Espnoza of Romeo, MI and Lillyana Morales of Washington Township, MI; her son, Manuel (Emily) Morales of Rochester Hills, MI; and her grandchildren, Eva, Ozzi and Aileen. She is also survived by: her siblings, Celina Rodriguez, Lucina Martinez, Maria Rosilla, Nora Lopez, Jose Medrano, Antonio Medrano, Martin Medrano, Eloy Medrano and Efrain Medrano.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Carmina was preceded in death by: her parents, Antonio &amp; Angelina Medrano; and her brother, Sergio Medrano.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 700 Maple Vista, Imlay City, MI. Reverend Fr. Charles Altermatt, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Capac Cemetery.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>The family will be available for visitation 3-8 pm, Friday, July 18th at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI and 10:30-11 am, Saturday, July 19th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.</b></p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>Arrangements were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
