<p>Kathleen Mary Kauffman, 72, of Newport, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.</p><p><br></p><p>She was a Claims Analyst with Western &amp; Southern. Kathleen belonged the Campbell County Homemakers, the “Stamping up” friends group, and the St. Elizabeth widows group.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathleen was born November 15, 1952 in Fort Thomas, KY to Richard Schultheis and Mary (nee: Monsch) Schultheis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Wilbur Kauffman, sons, Paul Joshua Kauffman &amp; Justin Brummett.</p><p><br></p><p>Kathleen is survived by her daughters, Amy (John) Baldwin, Kaitlin (Daniel) Cleves, daughter in law, Mandy Brummett, grandchildren, Justin, Josh, John &amp; Stephanie, sister, Karen (Vince) Thomas, brother, Dan (Carol) Schultheis, "Sister Cousin", Julie Manning.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial Visitation 10:00 am to 10:30 am, Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Holy Spirit Parish, Newport. Memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 am, Holy Spirit Parish, with Rev. Msgr. William F. Cleves, officiating. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery Fort Thomas, Kentucky.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 South Loop Rd., Edgewood, KY 41017.</p><p><br></p><p>Dobbling, Muehlenkamp &amp; Erschell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
