Frederick A "Fritz" Jardine, Jr
<p>It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of beloved, father, grandfather and friend, Frederick Arthur “Fritz” Jardine, Jr, who passed away on June 26 at RWJ-University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Frederick and Susan Jardine, Sr.</p><p><br></p><p>Fritz had several great loves in his life: his family, any outdoor adventure(including mountain biking and hiking), the beach, and music. He especially cherished listening to his collection of classic vinyl records, finding joy in the crackle and warmth that only analog sound could offer. Music was not just a hobby—it was a part of who he was.</p><p><br></p><p>Fritz approached life with quiet strength and a thoughtful spirit. He believed in taking life one day at a time, learning from each experience, and facing its complexities with resilience and grace. True to the generous and compassionate man he was, Fritz made the selfless decision to be an organ donor—offering hope and healing to others, even in passing. It’s a fitting tribute to the legacy he leaves behind: one of kindness, humility, and the quiet courage to make a difference.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his beloved son, Cooper, his wife Jenna, and his cherished grandson Jacob.</p><p><br></p><p>Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, July 8th from 10:00am-12:00pm at Dooley Colonial Home in Westfield.
