<p><p>Patricia Jane Kleczkowski was called from this life in the most peaceful way on Sunday, June 29, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 7, 1941 to Thomas Reilly and Nora McHugh Reilly, Pat was a Greenpoint gal through and through. When she wasn’t spending time in the dark of a movie theater, dreaming big dreams, she was playing stick ball with all the neighborhood kids, who referred to her as the “two sewer girl.”</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Pat was a devoted Catholic of unwavering faith who considered any stranger simply a friend she had yet to meet. Those fortunate enough to know her always smiled more brightly, laughed louder, and were warmed by her kindness. She was an incredible athlete who excelled as a slalom water skier, waking up most summer weekends at dawn to carve rooster tails on the waters of Lake Hopatcong. She was also an accomplished long-distance runner who, at the age of 49, ran and finished the 1989 New York City Marathon. Her strength, determination and resilience were on full display after she discovered that marathon officials failed to capture a photo of her crossing the finish line. Pat trained even harder to run the marathon again in 1990, just so she could get that photo – and she did.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Pat was a devoted wife and mother who took great pride in making a happy and comfortable home for her family. Despite her proud Irish heritage, she rarely boiled anything, and her giant pots of meatballs and magnificent lasagna trays rivaled those of any Italian restaurant.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Her spirit and memory are carried forward by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Richard Kleczkowski; her devoted sons, Rick, Chris, Glenn (Liane), and Brian (Katie); and her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored without end: Cayla, Leah, Jack, Hana, Alison, Daisy, and Georgia. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Hawkins and Rita McMahon, along with many extended family members and dear friends.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Pat is now home with God, reunited with her mother and father, brothers Tommy and Michael Reilly, and her sister Eileen Macauley. &nbsp;</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 8, 2025 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm at Tuttle Funeral Home, 272 State Route 10, Randolph, N.J. 07859.</p></p><p><br></p><p><p>Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:30am at Our Lady of The Lake Church, 8 Windemere Ave. Mt. Arlington, N.J. 07856. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery at Airport Road, Andover, NJ 07821 (Green Township).&nbsp;</p></p><p><br></p>
