<p>Norma (Ford) Baldwin, 88, of Vernon, beloved wife of 67 years to Alan T. Baldwin, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family. Norma was born on August 27, 1936, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a loving daughter of the late David and Dorothy Ford.</p><p><br></p><p>Norma was a graduate of Dalton High School and earned her nursing degree from Union University in Albany, New York. Along with raising her family, Norma was employed as a dedicated and talented O.R. nurse for over 40 years, working at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital. She truly loved her position and made many friendships over her career.</p><p><br></p><p>Norma was a member of the Crossroads Community Cathedral in East Hartford. She was a longtime member and past Treasurer of (D.A.R.) Daughters of the American Revolution.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her beloved husband, Alan, Norma leaves her three children: her son Mark and his wife, Valinda; her son Jack and his wife, Karen; and her daughter, Diane Masse, and her husband, Michael. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren: Caleb and David Masse; Joshua, Aaron, Amanda, and Travis Baldwin; and her precious great-grandchildren: Jude, Cara, Charlotte, and Madeline Masse.</p><p><br></p><p>All are welcome to join the family at the Crossroads Community Cathedral, 1492 Silver Lane, East Hartford, CT, 06118, for a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 2:30 pm. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 9:00 am in Valley Falls Cemetery, Valley Falls Road, Vernon, CT 06066.
