<p>It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Arya Fraenkel, at the age of 29. Born on July 10, 1995 in Boston, she was blessed with many gifts, an adventurous spirit and a compassionate soul, although she also faced multiple challenges throughout her life. She loved music, reading, fashion, traveling and especially being near the ocean. She graduated from New York University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Study, Concentration in Visual Culture. Arya is survived by her loving parents, David Oelberg and Liana Fraenkel, her brother, Justin Oelberg, grandparents (Beryl and Peter Fraenkel), aunts and uncles (Jen Fraenkel and Paul Rosen, Anna Fraenkel, David Fraenkel and Helen Costin, Brian and Stefanie Oelberg) and cousins (Jordan and Ali Stern, Talia, Jessica, and Russell Soussan, Abby and Joe Fraenkel, Emily and Liam Oelberg). A graveside funeral will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pittsfield Cemetery, Temple Anshe Amunim section on the Onota Street side. All who knew her are invited to join.
