<p>In loving memory of John James Jones, (born Elwood). 76 years who passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, at Pioneer Manor with his best friends Paul and Lise Portelance by his side. Beloved father of Natalie Jones (Mandi) and Jonathan Jones (Casey). Cherished grandfather of Rylea, Hudson, Winston, Elianna and Vayda. Dear son of Robert and Anna (née Josul) Jones both predeceased. Loving brother of Dennis predeceased (Paula), Dale predeceased (Michelle) and David (Gisele). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>John worked and retired as an electrician for Falconbridge for 34 years. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. </p><p><br></p><p>Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. (Friends and family may gather after 1pm Thursday). Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 2pm. Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery.
